George Blackett

Originário da cidade de Leeds estabeleceu-se na cidade do Porto no século XIX como comerciante de Vinhos do Porto. O seu posicionamento dentro do sector permitiu-lhe uma progressão assinalável figurando no Top Five dos maiores comerciantes desse século de acordo com os livros de imposição de vinho (arquivo municipal do Porto).

George Blackett, born in the city of Leeds, was established in Oporto in the nineteenth century as a merchant of Port wines. Its positioning within the industry allowed him to notable progress figuring in the Top Five of the biggest traders of the century according to the registration books of Oporto Customs (municipal archives of Porto).
